Hi All Another great day out West. We got underway about 0900 and hit the road on I-40 West. We were doing great till we hit Oklahoma City and traffic stopped. It turned out that there was a small hole in the road on a bridge there closing three lanes of traffic of the 4 lane road. That wasn't all that bad, but there were at least 6 on ramps going that way also, so we spent about 1 1/2 hours sneaking thru Oklahoma City. Finally got going and all went well from then on. We have seen many Indian Casino's along the way. Didn't stop at any though. Also saw lots and lots of wind mills. There was lots of wind to keep them turning also, as we had a head wind most of the day. Yesterday I got a little over 9 MPG and today I only got a little over 6 MPG. That's what a head wind does to a Motor Home. Hope the wind is down tomorrow...The other photo is of our Motor Home at the campground. Not a fancy one, but does have all we need like electricity, water, dump station. the satellite locked on to the satellite, AND the Verizon Internet thingy works also, so we are all set for the night. Also, Amy made a super spaghetti Dinner, and is now making a cake. I love this country....
We leave tomorrow for another campground in Amarillo, TX. Then on the road again going West toward the Grand Canyon...

No,no.the pics are not boring, I gotta see where we are going..lol I made veggie soup and cornbread tonight, sho nuff good.My Mother is here and had eye surgery today, doing good for 82 years young.She works 6 hours a day at the elementary school as a foster grand parent.I hope I got her spunk when i am that age. Love yall...Jan
